We break these down into our three major elements of confidence: Credibility Evaluates the reliability of the source data and its collection methods. Who is providing the data? How much do we trust this source and its methods? We only share and utilize data that meets our strict standards. Credibility is used in Respiratory Illness, COVID-19, RSV, Influenza data confidence assessments and Alerts Confidence Assessments. Suitability Assesses how well the provided metrics address the risk in question. This involves determining the directness and appropriateness of the data, and may include the use of proxy data when direct data is unavailable. Representativeness Measures how well the data represents the demographic and geographic characteristics of a location, ensuring our insights are accurate and tailored to the areas and communities impacted.
